Shopping is also available throughout Newcastle Airport with scattered shops located outside and inside of security checkpoints. Travelex and WH Smith are located before security and Alpha airport shopping, Travelex, Tucci, Boots, Traveller, Tie Rack, and Dixons are located after security checkpoints. Additionally there are many duty free shops located after security checks.
To aid navigation through the Newcastle Airport there are trolleys and porters located throughout the terminal building and there are specialist vehicles available for those with disabilities who need assistance navigating the airport. For those who want Internet access while travelling fixed internet access is available in the Spectrum Internet Lounge that is found in the departure lounge. The area offers eight desk areas that accept pay as you go credit card payment. There is also WIFI wireless LAN access in this area as well. Also, for those with time to kill the lounge is equipped with a digital phone centre that allows users to print photos from digital cameras and mobile phones.
